Practice Statement Companies: Schemes of Arrangement and Restructuring Plans under Parts 26 and 26A of the Companies Act 2006 (Updated) (18 September 2025)
The Chancellor of the High Court, the Rt. Hon. Sir Julian Flaux, published an updated Practice Statement in respect of Schemes of Arrangement and Restructuring Plans under the Companies Act 2006 on 18 September 2025. The updated Practice Statement applies in all cases where an application for a meetings order is to be dealt with at a convening hearing listed on any date on or after 1 January 2026.

Practice Note - Listing and Criteria for Transfer of Work (2024) (18 November 2024)
This Practice Note shall come into force on 6 January 2025 and shall replace all previous Practice Notes relating to the criteria for transfer of work between the Royal Courts of Justice sitting in the Rolls Building, London and the County Court at Central London - Listing and Criteria for Transfer of Work (26 March 2015).

TEMPORARY INSOLVENCY PRACTICE DIRECTION SUPPORTING THE INSOLVENCY PRACTICE DIRECTION (1 OCTOBER 2020)
This Insolvency Practice Direction has been introduced to provide workable solutions for court users during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Its intention is to avoid, so far as possible, the need for parties to attend court in person and to take into account the likelihood of the Court needing to operate with limited staff and resources. It also provides users with guidance as to the type of hearings which the Insolvency and Companies Court list will endeavour to provide during the period for which this practice direction is in force.
