R3’s engagement on the Employment Rights Bill

As Peers consider the Commons’ amendments to the Employment Rights Bill, which will impact how employment claims are handled in insolvency cases, we wanted to highlight the work R3 has been doing behind the scenes to represent the insolvency profession.
 
In this short video, R3’s Policy and Public Affairs Manager, Céara Roopchand, shares insights into our engagement with officials and parliamentarians, and outlines the next steps we’ll be taking on behalf of R3 members.
 
This work is the culmination of efforts by R3’s Employee Working Group, whose input was instrumental in shaping our response to the consultation on strengthening remedies against the abuse of rules on collective redundancy and fire and rehire. Read our full response here.
