Opportunity to flex up to three days a week dependent on business need
Contract: Permanent/full time (after a three month probationary period)
Grade/Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 subject to experience
Report to: Head of Training
Line Management Responsibility: Training Co-ordinator and Training Executive
JOB PURPOSE
- With the Head of Training, be responsible for the development and delivery of the Training Academy education programme.
- To lead on the production and delivery of a suite of training courses with key learning outcomes aimed at insolvency and restructuring professionals at all levels of experience.
- To develop innovative training methods, utilising a variety of delivery methods including on-line and face to face to maximise the user experience.
- To ensure that the Training Academy enhances R3's brand and reputation.
- To help shape and drive a connected marketing strategy to drive take up by members of the online training and other content.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Delivery: Work with the Training and Development committee and the Head of Training to develop and deliver a range of training courses for insolvency and restructuring professionals of all ages and experience.
2. Innovation: Utilise different training delivery methods to ensure that the Training Academy continues to be seen as the go to training provider for the profession and to maximise the experience of those attending R3 training courses.
3. Financial control: Support the Head of Training in the production of annual budgets for the Training Academy ensuring that training courses developed and delivered contribute a financial contribution to R3's budget.
4. Governance: Ensure that the Bursary Scheme is operated effectively and within the terms set for the scheme.
5. Provide committee support: Deliver secretarial support to R3's Training and Development Committee, ensuring efficient meeting preparation, effective communication and timely follow-up on action items.
6. Steward financial resources: Manage and allocate budgetary resources assigned to R3's Training Academy to maximise impact and efficiency.
7. Mentor and develop talent: Oversee the professional growth and development of the Training Co-ordinator and Training Executive.
8. Taking initiative: Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned commensurate with the position's scope and level.
