Graham Peat

Graham is a Chartered Surveyor with 25 years post qualification experience.  Graham began his career in the late 1990’s, working in the Retail team at Colliers Erdman Lewis in London. In 2004, Graham joined KPMG to lead Real Estate Advisory, a national team working alongside Insolvency Practitioners, Corporate Finance, Audit and Advisory teams providing strategic property advice to complement the financial context and strategy of client businesses.

In April 2016, Graham left KPMG to set up PHD Property Advisory Limited, an independent property advisory practice specialising in providing bespoke property advice in the stressed/distressed sector.

At PHD, Graham works alongside Insolvency Practitioners, company boards and Directors advising on and implementing strategies to minimise costs, maximise flexibility and capture efficiencies across individual properties or portfolios.   Graham has been heavily involved in many of the large portfolio CVA’s and Administrations over the last few years. 

Graham also works closely with a number of Private Equity firms who specialise in acquiring financially stressed businesses and turnaround opportunities.  Graham provides these PE clients with acquisition due diligence services, identifying risks and opportunities related to the businesses property assets/liabilities.
