Niels Pannevis, Lawyer, RESOR

Niels Pannevis is attorney (advocaat) at RESOR and senior researcher at the Radboud Business Law Institute. His work focuses on complex matters of insolvency law, including advising in international matters, cross-border restructuring and (supreme court) litigation.

Niels studied both law and theoretical physics at Utrecht University and obtained a PhD in bankruptcy law at Radboud University with a dissertation on subordinated claims. Niels is editor and author of the most used Dutch handbook on insolvency law (Polak/Pannevis – Insolventierecht), editor of the leading Dutch journal on insolvency law (Tijdschrift voor Insolventierecht), and board member of the Netherlands Association for Comparative and International Insolvency Law.
