Marlene Ruf is a restructuring partner in the Munich office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP.

She focuses on cross-border restructurings advising debtors, creditors, the management or shareholders on reorganizations, acquisitions and disposals of stressed and distressed businesses, which include both consensual restructurings and formal processes. Among Marlene’s clients are distressed debt investors and banks that she advises on the acquisition and restructuring of capital market instruments or loans in and outside of insolvency as well as debtors in financial stress or distress.
