Carl Paraskevas
Director, Trade Lab 

Carl Paraskevas has over twenty years’ experience in finance and banking, primarily in research and trading related roles at several institutions. Prior to founding Trade Lab in 2023, he was Chief Economist for a major global brokerage firm based in London, a Senior Markets Economist and Emerging Markets FX trader at Lloyds Bank and held similar roles at other major financial institutions including Lloyds Bank, Merrill Lynch and Barclays Capital. 

Carl holds a bachelors degree in Economics from the Central Connecticut State University and a MSc in International Finance from Cass Business School in London. More recently, he has pursued advanced studies in Data Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition, he holds several awards from the International Monetary Fund in financial market analysis and macroeconomic forecasting.
