Anthony Walters
Head of External Affairs, R3

Anthony Walters is Head of External Affairs at R3 where he leads on our policy, public affairs and media activities.

Prior to joining R3 Anthony was Head of Public Affairs at the global accountancy body, ACCA, where he led on the development of effective engagement with government and regulators. 

Anthony is passionate about ensuring the role and value of professional advisory services are understood by policy makers and parliamentarians in supporting a sound and sustainable economy.

Anthony began his career as a graduate working in the Department for Trade and Industry before moving on to work in policy, public affairs and communications roles in various government bodies, including the Legal Services Commission and Small Business Service, and then in professional membership organisations.
