Jake Beake - Insolvency Director, Begbies Traynor

Jake is a Director based in the London office of Begbies Traynor and is head of the Contentious Insolvency Division. He is a chartered accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner with over 12 years’ experience of dealing with multi-jurisdictional contentious investigations and litigation arising out of insolvency proceedings. He particularly specialises in asset tracing, investigations where there have been allegations of fraud, enforcement of judgements and litigation.

Jake has previously worked at the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) providing specialist accountancy advice to the fraud division as part of their investigations into serious and complex fraud which resulted in the SFO entering into a Deferred Prosecution Agreement with the organisation.

Jake also works closely with the offshore offices of Begbies Traynor working on a number of insolvencies across the British Virgin Islands, Isle of Man, Gibraltar and Jersey.
