Scott Porter - Partner & Head of Insolvency, Ellisons Solicitors

Scott is a specialist Insolvency Litigator and heads up the Insolvency team at Ellisons Solicitors, one of the largest niche departments in East Anglia.  

Scott qualified as a solicitor in 2009 in the City of London, where he worked in the insolvency team of a large City firm, specialising in contentious insolvency and fraud, before joining Ellisons to establish their niche insolvency team. Scott has spent many years acting on large, complex insolvency investigation cases and securing recoveries in multiple jurisdictions, working on urgent applications injunctions and all manner of insolvency litigation.

Scott’s insolvency team at Ellisons is supported by the wider firm of circa. 300 people, across six office locations, that includes specialist departments in Corporate and Commercial, Employment, Construction, Property Litigation, Commercial Property and Trusts, all of which are regularly drawn upon to support insolvency cases as the need arises.
