Trevor Williams - Chief Economist, TW Consultancy and Visiting Professor, University of Derby

Trevor Williams is the former chief economist of Lloyds Bank. 

His extensive experience covers financial markets, econometric modelling, banking markets, the UK and global economy analysis, and financial market risk. Topical issues such as international trade, the housing market, demographics, productivity, the fourth industrial revolution, ‘big’ data, global megatrends and the future of manufacturing are areas he has focussed on.

Trevor runs his own consultancy – TWC: www.trevorfwilliams.co.uk and is co-founder of FXGuard – a fintech-based risk management tool for SMEs to manage foreign exchange risk exposure.

He is a visiting Professor at the University of Derby, St Marys University, rotating Chair of the IEAs Shadow Monetary Policy Committee (SMPC), and author of Trading Economics (Wiley). He also writes a regular monthly column for Moneyfacts.
