Joe joined The Insolvency Service in April 2002 as a trainee examiner. Joe completed the Professional Diploma in Insolvency Practice in September 2005 and remained an examiner until 2009. Joe then spent approximately 10 years in IP Regulation carrying out a leading role in monitoring the RPBs, chairing the Meeting of RPB Monitors and representing the Insolvency Service on a number working groups that considered changes to Statements of Insolvency Practice and the Insolvency Code of Ethics. Joe is currently Official Receiver for London & Southend where he is appointed as a trustee and liquidator to a range of bankruptcy and compulsory liquidation cases including liquidator of the holding company Debenhams PLC.
