Louise is a CTA qualified Associate Director in RSM’s VAT practice with over ten years’ experience advising clients on all areas of VAT, with a particular focus on Insolvency and the Real Estate and Construction sector.  Louise joined RSM in May 2019 after almost nine years at Deloitte where she joined as a graduate.

Since joining RSM, Louise has supported Peter Williams to build a team of advisors specialising in advising on VAT issues for insolvent businesses.  This team of specialists provide VAT support to the national restructuring practice at RSM.  Louise has been involved advising on the VAT considerations associated with a range of types of appointments including company administrations, liquidations, CVAs, MVLs and LPA receiverships. Specific examples of the areas she has advised on include: property and business disposals, VAT compliance, partial exemption and Bad Debt Relief.
