No Vaccine, No Job? Employment Law Post-Lockdown

Office return: mandatory vaccines, staff refusing to return? Your questions answered. 

Employers are finding themselves in a brave new world in terms of home working, vaccinations and the competing interests of the business and the different needs of their workforce.  

Staff attitudes can be completely polarised: those who love working from home, who hate it, who work better from home, whose work performance drops off when at home, who want to be vaccinated and want everyone else to be vaccinated and those who are reluctant or feel unable to be vaccinated for a myriad of different reasons. 

How is an employer to navigate what are often competing views and complexities and what is the legal context within which they have to work to achieve their business aims?

Our talk is aimed at business owners and HR professionals who are at the front line of staff management and are starting to look at the working environment as we come out of lockdown. We will give you a road map of what needs to be considered, what you need to establish in order to achieve your business aims and what risks employers should be aware of. It will focus on office workers but the issues arising are the same across the board; it is the conclusions which may vary.
