Annual Conference - Windsor

In the current climate, the R3 Annual Conference has unfortunately been postponed to 2021 however no new date has yet been set, our team will provide an update as soon as possible.

On Friday 13 March, the R3 Executive Committee and R3 Executive Committee Consultation Group met to discuss the impact of the ongoing spread of COVID-19. We took into account the prevailing advice from HM Government as well as data from other expert bodies but most importantly we took account of feedback from our members.

We are conscious of the need for R3 to be a responsible corporate citizen. While the data suggest that the chances of contracting COVID-19 are generally low, there are still many unknowns about this virus. We are therefore cancelling or deferring all R3 events scheduled to take place by the end of June 2020.

This includes the R3 Annual Conference which has unfortunately been postponed to 2021, however no new date has been set and our team will provide an update as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding and in the meantime, for any queries, please contact our Events Team at events@r3.org.uk.

Conference Close

Join us on a River Cruise

CAPAWe have the impressive ‘Queen of the Thames’; the largest boat on the Upper Thames for the evening of Wednesday 13th May and as an exclusive early bird offer, the first 150* to book a ticket for the R3 Annual Conference are invited to join us!

On the Wednesday evening, after a Drinks Reception at De Vere Beaumont Estate, the Queen of the Thames will be setting off at approx. 18:45. Upon boarding, you’ll be served a welcome drink then we’ll have drinks available while you take in the beautiful sights along the Thames as we cruise along at a leisurely pace to the sounds of a jazz band. The 90-minute trip gives you ample time to network with colleagues and friends, as well as meet others within the profession.

The boat trip will finish at approx. 20:30 in central Windsor and the rest of the evening is yours to enjoy and we’ll provide a list of restaurants that we personally recommend for an evening meal which will also offer discounts for R3 delegates.

The river cruise comes at no extra cost, however it is limited to just 150 spaces* and can only be booked in conjunction with a conference ticket, so ensure you take advantage of this exclusive early bird offer so you don’t miss out on this networking highlight!

*There are only 150 spaces on the river cruise and this is offered as a first-in, first-served basis and can only be booked in conjunction with a Annual Conference or a Social Event only ticket. Once spaces are gone, there will be no more available, however you will be able to enjoy an buffet dinner at De Vere Beaumont Estate, courtesy of R3 (drinks not included).
