Charles Turner

Charles has a Big 4 background including as an appointment taking IP from 2000. His focus is now on the mid-market providing advisory and insolvency services for corporates, individuals and partnerships. As well as conducting a portfolio of corporate and personal insolvency assignments he specialises in business review, recovery and insolvency work for partnership businesses and professional practices, having led a number of assignments particularly for legal practices. In all cases he is used to working with key stakeholders - business owners, bank and other creditors as well as regulators, such as the SRA.

He is a former winner of IP of the Year for personal insolvency in the profession's Insolvency and Rescue Awards and is a former President of the Insolvency Practitioners Association.

Charles has a long standing interest in the development of insolvency qualifications and for many years has acted as chief examiner of the intermediate CPI insolvency exams and introduced the specialist personal and corporate equivalents (CPPI and CPCI).

Charles is also an insolvency lecturer for BPP, including the training of JIE candidates.
