Penny McCoull

Penny is the owner of ASM Recovery Limited, a sole IP practice based in Stirlingshire (rural Scotland).  Penny worked as a Manager for a Big 4 firm for many years before joining smaller practices to gain more experience of dealing with all aspects of case work and, more importantly, to get the opportunity to sit the JIEB exams.  She qualified as an IP in 2007 and set up ASM Recovery early in 2008.  The firm deals exclusively with corporate appointments and Penny is approved to take court liquidation appointments for HM Revenue & Customs.  Penny undertakes Court Reporter assignments – auditing other IPs' files and approving their fees for the work done - for a number of IPs within Scotland.  She also worked with the IPA for 2 years setting and then marking the CPI and CPPI exams.  Penny is a member of the R3 Scotland Committee and has joined the SPG Committee to represent Scottish IPs’ interests.

Outside of work, Penny enjoys hiking in the hills with her family and dogs, going to the theatre and reading crime novels.
