Eleanor Temple

Eleanor Temple (Kings Chambers) practises in all aspects of chancery and commercial litigation and advisory work, especially corporate and personal insolvency, company and partnership law (including shareholder/unfair prejudice disputes, breaches of trust and fiduciary duties), directors’ disqualification, banking and finance and asset tracing claims. In 2015 Eleanor was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Civil).  Eleanor regularly sits on the North Eastern Circuit, particularly in Leeds.  
 
In 2014 Eleanor was named as one of the Chambers UK Top 200 junior barristers practising in England and Wales.
 
Eleanor is the Founder of the R3 North West Women in Business Recovery Group and the Regional Chair of the R3 Regional Committee (Yorkshire).
 
In 2007 Eleanor was featured in The Times “Future Stars of the Regions” Report.

Clients include insolvency practitioners, banks, multi-nationals, SMEs, professional firms, private equity houses and private individuals.  Eleanor has acted for and against the Government including on public interest winding up and directors’ disqualification matters.  She is a member of the Attorney General’s Provincial Panel.
