R3's parliamentary engagement in 2021 (video)

Over the last year, R3 has been at the forefront of parliamentary engagement across several key pieces of legislation for the insolvency and restructuring profession, including the temporary Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act regulations, the new pre-pack regulations, and the Rating (Coronavirus) and Director Disqualification (Dissolved Companies) Bill.

R3's parliamentary engagement across these various pieces of legislation led to the profession's views being raised over 20 times during debates in both the House of Commons and House of Lords, with the key mentions included in the video below. 

R3 was also invited to give evidence to the House of Commons’ Public Bill Committee on the Rating and Director Disqualification Bill at the beginning of July, with our Immediate Past President Duncan Swift representing R3 at this session. The video below is a recording of the session.
