Need help when booking onto an R3 event, course or webinar? This post outlines FAQs to assist you through the booking process. 

What events, courses and webinars are taking place and how do I find them?

R3 hosts a range of events, courses and webinars, both online and throughout the UK. Go to the Events & Webinars page for a full list of all upcoming events and webinars, or the Training Academy website for our online training courses. On the Events & Webinars page you can search and filter by date, location, topic and event type.

How can I be updated about upcoming events and webinars?

Update your marketing preferences in My Profile

  • If you're a member, login using your email address and password. Under 'Contact preferences' update this to get the event communications from R3
  • If you're using the website for the first time and you're already an R3 member, then you may need to reset your password. Just click 'forgotten password' link on the My Profile screen and enter the email address you've previously used with R3
  • If you are a non-member, register with R3 and select to receive event communications

How much do events and webinars cost?

The cost of each event or webinar varies, and the costs are outlined on the relevant event, course or webinar page.

There are reduced rates for members, associates, fellows and new professionals. Non-member rates are higher, and some events are accessible to members only.

Do I have to be an R3 member to attend an event or webinar?

Most of our events and webinars are open to non-members, but non-members will be charged a higher rate.

Non-members will need to register with R3 before they can book onto an event, course or webinar. This will create an R3 ID for you.

What email do I use to login to My Profile?

The email provided by you in your membership application or when you registered for the R3 website is the email that you need to use to login to the ‘My Profile’ section of the website.

If you are uncertain about which email you used, contact R3 on 020 7566 4200 or [email protected].

 

Booking onto an Event, Course or Webinar

Do I need to register to attend an event, course or webinar?

Yes, you must register on the events page under the relevant event to attend all R3 events. For our Training Courses, you must register on the relevant training course page to attend all R3 training courses. If you attend and can not prove proof of purchase, you will be asked to leave the event.

Do I need my R3 ID to book onto an event, course or webinar?

Yes, all events, courses and webinar bookings require an R3 ID. To find out what your R3 ID is login to My Profile and your R3 membership ID will be seen on the top left corner of the page.

How do I book onto an R3 event, course or webinar?

In a few easy steps you can book onto an event, course or webinar:

  1. Use our Events & Webinar page to search for the event by date, region or topic. Click on the event or webinar you'd like to attend and click ‘Book Now’. Alternatively, if you would like to book onto a training course, visit the website and navigate to your preferred course and click 'Book Now'
  2. Log in to the booking portal using your registered email address and password.
  3. The system will pre-fill your contact details based on what is entered in ‘My Profile’.
  4. Your ticket price and R3 ID are pre-filled to ensure you are paying the right amount.
  5. Review your booking and pay online via credit card.
  6. Payment for bookings must be received before the booking can be confirmed. Your receipted invoice and payment confirmation will be emailed to you.

Review all your upcoming events, courses and webinars in ‘My Profile’ and contact [email protected] for event and webinar queries or [email protected] for any training course queries.

How do I book on a colleague or multiple people?

In a few easy steps you can book your colleague or multiple people into an event:

  1. Use our Events & Training page to search for the event by date, region or topic. Click on the event or webinar you'd like to attend and click ‘Book Now’. Alternatively, if you would like to book onto a training course, visit the website and navigate to your preferred course and click 'Book Now'
  2. Log in to the booking portal using your registered email address and password.
  3. The system will prefill your contact details based on what is entered in ‘My Profile’.
  4. Your ticket price and R3 ID are pre-filled to ensure you are paying the right amount.
  5. When booking multiple people or a colleague you will need their R3 IDs to complete the purchase. If someone is booking a ticket for you, make sure they have your R3 ID.
  6. To book an additional delegate, enter their R3 ID when prompted, and click ‘Update’ – their details will be shown automatically.
  7. Review your booking and pay online via credit card.
  8. Payment for bookings must be received before the booking can be confirmed. Your receipted invoice and payment confirmation will be emailed to you.

Review all your upcoming events, webinars and courses in ‘My Profile’ and contact [email protected] for event and webinar queries or [email protected] for any training course queries.

Do I need to pay for my booking prior to the event, course or webinar date?

As per the R3 event and course terms and conditions all bookings must be paid prior to the event, webinar and/or course. R3 reserves the right to cancel an unpaid booking or refuse you access. If you have not paid prior to an R3 event, webinar or online training course, you will not recieve your unique link to join.

How do I pay my outstanding balance?

If you have registered for an event, course or webinar but have not yet completed the payment, you have 24 hours to pay the outstanding balance before your booking is automatically deleted. To pay your outstanding balance, please follow the steps below: 

  • Go to ‘My Profile’ on our website as per this link
  • Log in using your credentials
  • On the left, click on ‘Outstanding Balances’
  • You will see the relevant event, course or webinar in your basket, tick it and you will be able to pay by Credit Card

If you fail to pay your outstanding balance within 24 hours of booking, your booking will be automatically deleted. If you still wish to attend the event, course or webinar, you will need to complete the booking process again.

Can I pay my event, course or webinar booking by invoice?

As a general policy R3 only allows credit card bookings to ensure that event places are held at a first come first served basis. Please note only for Annual conference, R3 allows invoice request via the booking portal.

If you have no way to pay by Credit Card and need an invoice, please contact R3 on [email protected] (for events and webinars) or [email protected] (for training courses) and explain the circumstances as to why you need an invoice raised. It is at R3 discretion to issue an invoice for an event, course or webinar.

What happens if I can no longer attend an event, course or webinar?

Email [email protected] (for events and webinars) or [email protected] (for training courses) as soon as you know so we can cancel your booking. Please note depending on the event, course or webinar the terms and conditions vary, so click here for more information.

I haven’t received a confirmation email. How can I check if my registration was successful?

If your registration was successful, you will see any events, courses or webinars that you are registered for on the ‘Events and Courses’ tab on your ‘My Profile’ page.

Please also check your junk mail folder to see if automated confirmation email is there and add [email protected] and [email protected] to your safe senders list.

Can I amend a booking?

Unfortunately, our booking system doesn’t allow for amendments once payment has been made. If you need to make any changes to your booking, for example, you have registered for the incorrect days, please email [email protected] (for events and webinars) or [email protected] (for training courses) so that we can update this for you.

Will I receive any information from R3 in the run up to the event or webinar?

Yes, we send out joining instructions to all delegates at least one week before the event or webinar, which will include the times that the programme will begin and how to access the platform. For training courses, depending on which training course you have selected, will depend on the information sent to you once you've booked.

 

Post-Event 

How can I sign up for CPD for an event, course or webinar?

After the event, contact [email protected] (for events and webinars) or [email protected] (for training courses) and we will send you a CPD certificate.

How can I get the receipt for an event or webinar?

When you make a booking online and pay via credit card you will automatically receive a receipted invoice via email. Refer to this email for a copy of the receipt.

Contact [email protected] (for events and webinars) or [email protected] (for training courses) referring to which event or course you need the receipt for and we will resend it to you.

 

On Demand Webinars

How can I watch an on demand webinar?

A unique link was sent to you in the confirmation email you received upon payment of the webinar. If you no longer have this email contact [email protected] outlining which webinar you purchased and we will resend the confirmation email.
