Sir Julian Flaux – Arbitrator, 7 Kings Bench Walk From February 2021 to October 2025, he was the Chancellor of the High Court. He was a barrister at 7 King’s Bench Walk from 1979 until 2007, being appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1994. In May 2007, he was appointed a High Court Judge in the Queen’s Bench Division. He was Judge in Charge of the Commercial Court from July 2014 until December 2015. He was promoted to the Court of Appeal in December 2016. His practice included insurance/ reinsurance & banking, and finance. He led teams on Bermuda Form arbitrations. He is an arbitrator principally in insurance and reinsurance disputes.
