Sebastian Böhning is a German fully qualified lawyer and doctoral candidate specialising in international restructuring and insolvency law. He studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, and at the University of Oxford, UK. During his studies, he gained practical experience at international law firms with a focus on finance and restructuring. Sebastian finished his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court in Frankfurt, Germany, and completed a station at a law firm in Singapore. He worked as a research assistant at the professorship of Prof Dr Dominik Skauradszun in Fulda, Germany, and has authored several legal publications. He currently researches in international restructuring law focussing on cross-border aspects. Another area of expertise is the law of digital assets.
