Solicitor, Ward Hadaway LLP Ruth is a solicitor in the Insolvency Team at Ward Hadaway LLP based in Newcastle upon Tyne, having qualified in September 2023. Ruth assists across the multi-disciplinary team on a range of personal and corporate insolvency matters, primarily acting for Insolvency Practitioners in their capacity as Trustees in Bankruptcy, Liquidators, and Administrators, and for Lenders in relation to the enforcement of secured funding. Ruth was a professional opera singer for several years before training as a solicitor, working with companies such as Scottish Opera and New Zealand Opera, and performing at venues including the Royal Albert Hall and The Glasshouse. Ruth is looking forward to sharing an insight into her journey to law at the R3 Northern Forum 2025.
