Rob Mak, FCA Rob joined the FCA in 2022 as a technical specialist in the CASS & Resolution Policy team, developing regulatory rules and guidance across both CASS and Resolution. He previously worked at the Payment Systems Regulator on the Card Acquiring Market Review and, prior to that, spent 13 years at the Insolvency Service in roles covering Official Receiver Services, Enforcement, and Policy. His policy work included developing the Part 26A Companies Act 2006 restructuring plan process, negotiating the EU Preventive Restructuring Frameworks Directive, modernising the Insolvency Rules 1986, and delivering the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015 ‘Red Tape Challenge’ insolvency reforms.
