Ian provides critical advice in stressed and distressed situations for a range of clients and stakeholders. With 20 years of experience, he has advised companies, lenders, and investors on complex, cross-border financial restructurings, independent business reviews, contingency plans, options, and formal insolvency assignments. Ian undertook a secondment to the structuring and syndication team at a major UK asset-based lender. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in management sciences from Loughborough University. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a licensed insolvency practitioner. Recognized in INSOL International’s 2022 Young Practitioner Spotlight and the Global Restructuring Review 2022 as a “rising star,” Ian has led significant projects, including being appointed as the Administrator of Cineworld Group Plc and Farfetch Group PLC. Additionally, in 2024 Ian advised Cineworld regarding the successful implementation of its Part 26A Restructuring Plan.
