Georgie Matthews Deputy Official Receiver North West, The Insolvency Service Georgie graduated university with a Law Degree in 2019 and joined the Official Receiver’s Services in 2020 as an Examiner. She now manages a team of her own Examiners, carries out technical insolvency casework and attends court on behalf of the Official Receiver. Georgie contributes to resource and performance management for the office and loves overseeing her team’s successes. In addition to her day-to-day role Georgie has recently completed the London Marathon whilst studying and passing the ICAEW Certificate in Insolvency.
