In my view R3’s key challenges are to gain government and public understanding and acceptance of the good work its members perform.

I am a Restructuring & Insolvency partner at Moore Stephens. I have over 25 years experience in all types of restructurings and insolvencies introduced by owners, management, professional advisers, banks and other financial stakeholders in the South of England and have been an R3 member for almost as long!

Besides significant sector experience in nursing and care home, charity and not-for-profit organisations I am a nationally recognised food supply sector specialist. I have an MSc degree in Agricultural Business Management and extensive experience assisting financially challenged food production (agriculture, horticulture) and food processing businesses across the UK.

I  advocate good corporate governance in supermarket/supplier dealings. I was cited in the Competition Commission’s Groceries Market Review 2006-2008 and ‘Tescopoly’ by Andrew Simms, 2007. More recently I have been widely quoted in the media in relation to Tesco’s accounts and the Groceries Code Adjudicator’s investigation.

In my spare time I am a director of an organic meat processing company and a trustee of a community transport charity.
