    In this course, we will look at the different types of partnership and the processes required to place each of them into insolvency, together with the quirks and differences that arise when dealing with distressed partnership structures as opposed to corporates. This course is an essential and topical overview of how to deal with a partnership facing insolvency.

    LSE Region Event

    The next London & South East Regional meeting will be held on Tuesday 27 February 2018 at the office of Wedlake Bell LLP. We will be joined by Stewart Perry of Fieldfisher LLP and Joseph Curl of 9 Stone Buildings, who will be talking about 'Personal Liabilities for IPs.' The session will focus on challenges usually made against an IP's conduct and ways of mitigating against them. Refreshments and nibbles will be provided and there will be an opportunity to network before and after the meeting.

  1. R3 in Scotland Breakfast Seminar – HMRC: Avoidance & Insolvency

    Scotland Region Event

    This seminar will primarily focus on HMRC’s Counter Avoidance unit and recent case examples, including the treatment of Rangers cases, as well as an overview of the Counter-avoidance units intentions moving forward. We will also be exploring the new Insolvency Customer Service role, why it was created, how it is envisaged to work & demonstrate some examples of the changing environment and HMRC’s relationship with Insolvency Practitioners.
