Reorganisation of the Official Receivers Rotas

Plans have been laid for the reorganisation of both the rotas and the regions under which those rotas operate. Currently, the Official Receivers offices are controlled through four Regional Directorates namely Northern, Central & Eastern, London & the South East and Western and there are some 33 rotas that are controlled across those regions. We have referred to the plans to create two administrative centres in each region but we now understand that those plans are on hold. The current Official Receiver office structure remains in place. In the meantime, liaison has continued between ourselves and the Insolvency Service and between us, we have agreed some changes to the way the rotas are administered. Those changes have been agreed after extensive consultation with R3 members and, notwithstanding the fact that the reorganiastion plans are on hold, both the Service and ourselves are keen to put through the agreed changes to the rota system.
