• 11:45Insolvency Practitioners in the box – a mock trial At this year's conference, we are taking a practical approach to the legal section. Rather than focus on legal developments, we are aiming to provide practitioners with an insight into being cross examined in applications challenging antecedent transactions. We will all have had some exposure to legal proceedings in our capacity as insolvency practitioners, but a very small number of us will have actually stepped into a witness box and had the pleasure of being cross examined by a skilled and tenacious barrister. So, at this year's annual conference, we hope to share with attendees what it is like to have their application and evidence forensically tested in a Court. Scott Murray of Keenan CF and Gareth McGonigle from ASM have agreed to be the applicants in two case studies which we will work through and they will be examined by Wayne Atchison BL and Rob McCausland BL.
