Connected Party Sales – Uptake, Availability, Risk and Compliance

What to Expect

This session examines the employment law issues employers face as workplaces reopen after lockdown, including home working, vaccination policies, and the competing needs of businesses and their workforce.

Employers are dealing with strongly differing staff views: some prefer working from home, some do not, some perform better remotely, and others see their performance fall. Attitudes to vaccination are similarly divided, with some employees wanting widespread vaccination and others reluctant or unable to be vaccinated for a range of reasons.

The event explores how employers can navigate these competing perspectives, the legal framework in which they must operate, and the practical considerations involved in achieving business aims while managing risk.

Aimed at business owners and HR professionals, the session focuses on what employers need to consider as they review post-lockdown working arrangements, including refusals to return to the office, mandatory vaccination policies, and understanding legal obligations and rights.

While the discussion focuses on office workers, many of the underlying issues apply more broadly across different workplaces, even if the conclusions may vary.
