What to Expect

This practical introductory course is designed for junior insolvency administrators with 0 to 3 years’ experience and other industry professionals, including junior solicitors.

Part of the R3 Practical Introduction to Insolvency Work Series, the course provides essential training to help junior staff build core insolvency skills. The series draws on the knowledge and experience of leading practitioners working with current legislation and recent cases.

Delegates learn through real-life case studies and interactive exercises, gaining practical context and a deeper understanding of how insolvency practices and processes are applied in the workplace.

The series is supported by detailed course notes and podcasts covering the technical framework for each type of insolvency procedure.

Day 4 focuses on liquidations, covering CDDA returns, a presentation from the Disqualification Unit, and the basics of partnership insolvency.
