AI & Insolvency

What to Expect

This panel session explores current trends in AI businesses, the road ahead for the sector, and the role of insolvency professionals in supporting AI companies and pursuing recoveries when those businesses become insolvent.

The discussion will begin with the rise of AI businesses and how they are funded, including whether the market may face a downturn and what restructuring strategies or advice may be needed.

It will also examine how to realise value when selling an AI business and its assets, including the challenges of preserving and selling the intangible rights connected to the company’s core AI technology.

The session will conclude with an overview of potential claims against directors and third parties where a company developing AI products enters formal insolvency.
