The Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 - Likely impact for Scotland explained (2017)
This pre-recorded training session has been designed to update you on the key changes in an easily digestible way, focusing on corporate insolvency processes but also including what you need to be aware of for personal insolvency (bankruptcy and voluntary arrangements).
Outline:
The introduction of the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 brought about the most significant changes to insolvency law in England and Wales in 30 years. Whilst these Rules do not apply in Scotland, it is expected that the changes to be made to the Insolvency Rules in Scotland next year will mirror those changes introduced.
In this on-line seminar, aimed specifically at Scottish IPs and staff, we outline the principal changes introduced by the new Rules. This pre-recorded training session has been designed to update you on the key changes in an easily digestible way, focusing on corporate insolvency processes but also including what you need to be aware of for personal insolvency (bankruptcy and voluntary arrangements).
