What separates excellent from merely good in the debt/insolvency industry is the quality of the team. Bev Budsworth and The Debt Advisor team have grabbed compliance with “both hands” and are proud to be one of the few practices with dual regulation - FCA and Insolvency.

Bev’s insolvency career started with Spicer and Pegler (became Deloitte) where she spent 17 happy years latterly as a Senior Manager.  

The Debt Advisor “TDA” and The Business Debt Advisor “TBDA” were established in August 1999, becoming one of the first firms to offer comprehensive advice on all debt issues. The company ethos of ‘Doing the right thing’ is present in everything they do. Bev and her hugely talented team led the practice through FCA regulation.

Bev currently concentrates on corporate insolvency and complex IVA’s having stepped down as MD of The Debt Advisor Ltd on 1 July 2023. There is a talented team of 20 at TDA and TBDA who offer a range of formal and informal debt solutions for both individuals as well as businesses.
