Prof. dr. Omar Salah is a finance, restructuring and insolvency partner. Omar is Head of Restructuring at Norton Rose Fulbright, Amsterdam. He is also Professor of Global Finance & Restructuring Law at Tilburg University.

Omar has extensive experience advising a global client base, including banks, private equity funds, corporates and other stakeholders. He is specialised in restructuring and insolvency mandates. He often advises on bank and bond debt restructurings, insolvency matters and distressed M&A transactions. Omar has been involved in some of the most complex cross-border insolvencies globally. In addition, he has advised various financial institutions on recovery and resolution proceedings. Omar's practice also covers banking and finance transactions having advised on numerous leveraged financing, asset-based financing and investment grade corporate loans.

In addition to his practice at Norton Rose Fulbright, Omar is a full tenure professor at Tilburg University. He holds an Academic Chair in Global Finance and Restructuring Law at Tilburg University. His research and publications cover global finance, restructuring and insolvency law.
