Over 35 years of investment experience in distressed debt, turnaround private equity and special situations with a recognized expertise in Europe.

Prior to joining Sandton Capital, was PM at 2 firms, Eos and MeehanCombs with the majority of the portfolios invested in European distressed credits, restructurings, and special situations in multiple jurisdictions. During that time over $3 billion was invested in more than 200 companies across the credit spectrum.

Matt joined Sandton Capital Partners in 2016. He is focused on providing capital solutions to challenged but viable businesses and their stakeholders with a particular ability to move quickly in complex and difficult to value situations. Typical investment size is £5m to £50m in businesses with turnover in the range £20m to £200m. Sandton Capital Partners recently launched two differentiated funding products serving Insolvency Practitioners and their advisor communities: Admin Express and Tresartis as part of the IP Unlock offering.
