Rachel Lai is a Director at Menzies LLP, undertaking a wide variety of corporate and personal insolvency assignments as well as providing advice to clients. She leads the firm’s contentious insolvency team, which involves overseeing detailed investigations, alongside bringing and settling claims for the benefit of insolvent estates. 

Rachel writes questions for the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency and Registered Property Receiver examinations and is a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association’s Anti-Money Laundering Committee. She has also been involved in writing best practice guidance for the insolvency profession.
