Peter joined RSM as an Indirect Tax partner in 2019 having previously worked for one of the ‘Big 4’ accountancy firms and has more than 25 years’ experience in advising businesses on all aspects of their VAT affairs. Peter developed his VAT and insolvency specialism whilst at Coopers & Lybrand in the late 1990s, where we worked on the administration of Polly Peck International – at the time the UK’s largest ever corporate collapse - and has since worked on a large number of high profile corporate insolvencies both in the Big 4 and during his time at RSM. Peter is a Chartered Tax Adviser, being admitted as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2001.
