Grant English - HMRC Fraud Investigation Service, Civil Recovery and represents HMRC on the HMRC/R3 Tax Fraud Forum 

Grant English is the civil recovery and insolvency lead in HMRC’s Fraud Investigation Service and HMRC’s POCA V Civil Recovery Trustee and represents HMRC on the Tax Fraud Forum. Having previously worked in HMRC’s Specialist Investigations, Criminal Taxes Unit and now Proceeds Of Crime he has over 20 years experience in asset recovery. He has first-hand experience in utilising the wide range of tools and powers available to HMRC available from Tax, Insolvency, Taking Control of Goods, CPR and POCA legislation. He has worked with R3 to promote a closer public / private sector partnership between HMRC and the Insolvency Profession over the last 2 years and is keen to promote the powers and capabilities of the profession in tackling tax fraud.
