Stephen Keen - Associate Director, Grant Thornton

Stephen Keen is a qualified chartered accountant and have over seven years' insolvency experience working in New Zealand and the UK. He specialises in complex, multi-jurisdictional insolvency and asset recovery appointments, often involving fraud.

He regularly leads teams, working with stakeholders and legal advisers, to formulate claims (often utilising the insolvency powers in bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings) and to execute a recovery strategy across different jurisdictions in order to return value to creditors through the realisation of dissipated assets.

He has led investigations across a number of jurisdictions, including Europe, Russia and the CIS, various offshore financial centres, Africa, USA, New Zealand and the Middle East.
