Mike Metcalf is a KPMG partner in the firm’s Department of Professional Practice.  With over 30 years’ experience in the profession he specialises in technical accounting issues across all sectors and in company law.  He chairs the Company Law Panel at the ICAEW, is vice-chair of its Business Law Committee and is a member of its Financial Reporting Editorial Board.  He is an acknowledged expert on company law and distributable profits and was a contributing author to Annotated Companies Legislation (Oxford University Press, 2013) a commentary on companies legislation.
