Complex IVAs for businesses and professionals Self employed contribute significantly to the UK’s economy, up from £305BN in 2019 to £331BN in 2023. SME’s account for 99.9% of the business population (some 5.6M businesses). But its tough with huge uncertainty over income, increasing costs and lenders always insisting on personal guarantees.
