Panel Discussion: Entry Routes into Restructuring

Everyone attending the conference will have taken their own pathway into their career in Restructuring. Running a Hotel in Administration

Many insolvency practitioners will, at some point in their careers, be placed in charge of running and managing a trading hotel. In such instances, it is vital that they are guided by the right people. Peter Hales from Michels and Taylor will share his expert insight into managing hotels on behalf of insolvency practitioners and the key issues to be considered along with sharing some fascinating stories of what he has seen along the way. Michels and Taylor was born in 2010 and is one of the UK’s leading hotel management companies with over 3,000 rooms currently under their management.

How well do Insolvency Practitioners understand their valuations? – You are the judge!

Once again, our legal session will be a mixture of technical and practical as Insolvency Practitioner Andrew Dolliver mulls over whether to pursue a potential antecedent transaction with expert insight from his legal advisor Sam Corbett and valuation expert Peter Hales. Some of the company’s creditors don’t agree with the IP’s assessment and wish to pursue a misfeasance action against him. The audience will decide his fate.
