Overview

The Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 introduced two new tools for the profession, the Moratorium and Restructuring Plan, which have yet to take off in terms of use for SMEs and mid-market companies.

In this session our speakers explore the possibilities of using these restructuring tools for SMEs and mid-market companies and the role of the IP in their hypothetical future.
From an overall perspective, this session considers these restructuring tools with the following questions being discussed -

*Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) are said to account for 99% of the UK's business and are generally defined as those with: (i) under 250 employees and (ii) turnover under €50m or balance sheet under €43m.
