London & South East Region - Happy Hour hosted by R3 Women’s Group

Outline: 

R3’s London & South East Women’s Group will host a virtual networking happy hour with guest speaker Alison Goldthorp.

Alison will start off the happy hour with a small talk to introduce R3’s ‘Back to Business UK’ campaign.  The objective of the campaign is to get the best advice to directors on options for the rescue and restructure of their business post lockdown, and to introduce them to insolvency practitioners who can help and give that advice. Alison has been meeting with the Treasury, HMRC and the Insolvency Service and has spoken at webinars for the Institute of Directors, the Federation of Small Businesses and CICM on the options available to rescue and restructure businesses and the importance of taking early advice.

The virtual happy hour will then continue as we split into breakout rooms for networking hosted by committee members of the R3 Women’s Group. It is BYO of your favourite drink and it will be great opportunity to share our experiences of what has been happening this year and network amongst likeminded insolvency and restructuring professionals.
