The next R3 Midlands Quarterly Regional will be the first virtual meeting of 2020, kindly sponsored by John Pye and Sons, Manolete and Howden Group.

Deals Led Recovery; as we emerge from the challenges of lockdown state, businesses will be faced with unprecedented challenges and opportunities in managing the impact of the last few months as well as the economic uncertainty which lies ahead.  This downturn, unlike any other will be characterised by a recovery underpinned by transaction led activity.  

The Restructuring M&A team at PwC alongside specialists in Debt Advisory and Operational Restructuring will lead a discussion on why this is the case and the key areas to focus on for corporates and advisors in engaging in a transactional marketplace throughout Q3, Q4 and beyond.  They will focus particularly on the Industrial Manufacturing Sector as a key part of the economic recovery for the Midlands.

We will also be joined by Colin Haig and Liz Bingham as President and CEO of R3 who will provide an valuable update on the activities of R3 over the last 3 months during lockdown, their assessment of how restructuring and insolvency will be called upon as we move through the remainder of 2020 and how R3 is adapting to these changes.
