David Baxendale

David has worked for PwC for 14 years. Having started work in Assurance he moved into Business Recovery Services upon qualification.

David worked in Birmingham until 2011 and during this time obtained significant experience of both advisory and executory projects across a number of sectors including retail, construction, logistics, manufacturing, real estate and food production.

Key cases included Brandons Poultry, MG Rover and Royal Worcester and Spode Limited.

David spent a year on secondment to the Royal Bank of Scotland Specialised Lending Services division in 2005 working primarily with mid market clients of the bank across a number of sectors.

In 2006 David also spent time on secondment to the Department of Health helping them to project manage the supervision of organisations under financial stress.

David passed the JIEB examination in 2007 and started taking insolvency appointments when he relocated to London in 2011. Since taking appointments David has acted as Administrator of Manches LLP, Manroland Great Britain Limited, Euromix Concrete Limited and other cases in the manufacturing and real estate sectors.

David works with a broad range of stakeholders including corporates, lenders, private equity houses and pension funds.

David is also a member of the R3 Education Courses and Conferences Committee and has presented on a variety of subjects including Advisory projects, Pre-Packs and Commercial Rent Arrears Recovery ('CRAR')
