4 CPD hours

The blockchain world is expanding on a daily basis; new firms continuously enter and often fail.

Presented by Insolvency Practitioners actively involved in all stages of blockchain and cryptocurrency development, this course will cover both the theory and the practice required of any practitioner operating in this turbulent field.

Whether you practice in company or individual insolvency, you may be faced with some digital and difficult questions. For example:
  • What do I do if the estate contains cryptocurrencies?
  • How do I admit a creditor that has a blockchain smart contract, regardless of the currency involved?
  • Which law applies in cyberspace?
  • And If you’re appointed over a digital currency provider, store, trader or Exchange; ‘how do I run this job?'
This course will consider legal concepts, international comparatives and ‘what is the future for the IP in the blockchain world’, before concluding with a practical war story.
