It is what has been on everyone’s lips through the summer and was clearly the topic that we had to cover in this edition, as I alluded to in my last editorial – the cost of living. Energy prices show no sign of levelling off as the conflict continues in Ukraine, which is also feeding into an ever-increasing inflation rate, which the Bank of England is trying to calm down with rising rates, whilst we await the identity of our next prime minister, which we should know by the time you read this.
